*Scaled Agile Framework also known as SAFe is a framework made up of various organizational and workflow-type patterns that are designed to help an organization properly scale it’s Lean and or Agile practices. This framework was created by Scaled Agile inc. and it’s primary focus is to help an organization properly scale it’s Agile and or Lean methodologies beyond just a single team. It accomplishes this through a multitude of means. This can include things like promoting alignment, collaboration and delivery across a fair number of agile teams. There are three main facets of knowledge that are used within the SAFe framework. These are Agile software development, Lean product development, and systems thinking.*
